you don't know what love is..no seriously, i mean i really love this piece by JC, especially kenny garret's arrangement with pat matheny.

the one you took has a nice cool vibe, i like those 3rd chorus harmony with the horns, especially the last chord changes where it kinda fakes.

i think the players were a bit too layed back in their performance.

its good quality recordings you bring us, almost a studio.

i would do something more other than those approach notes to the root chord you made in the last chorus, should be a more substance in that phrase-you catch a good fill there, use it for something really hip.

i enjoyed this btw, i always love hearing jazz standards i know and played alot.

Why didn't this thing get any hits earlier? Awesome job, I love it too. I like that every player has a real laid back feel, and it's all very downtempo-ish. The electric guitar solo starting around 4:28 sounds out of place since it's such a harsh timbre in comparison to the others you use, but the player is fun to listen to. Your trio voicings are quite nice, although I was hoping for more variation at the end. Thanks for sharing such a high-quality recording!
