This composition is for an old friend. This composition shows how we met from the first few slow dissonant bars. Then this composition opens up to show the True demeanor of our doomed friendship with many minor chords. Thus the tune transfers into implied and developed recurring minor ideas to make the listener feel the kind of pain that our friendship ended in. Within the music the solo sax in the cadenzas is supposed to keep the hope,keep the peace alive.
