Scales Etude #1 in C Major

Hey guys, how goes it?

It's been ages since I've last uploaded a composition. The ideas haven't been coming lately (new job totally drains me) and the muses are on extended vacation. I jumped on the piano a day or so ago and just started doing scales warm-ups when this popped it. Granted, it is not a finished product, but hopefully it has the beginnings of a foundation to it. For now I am still working on adding the right hand scales and hopefully transition the melody to the left hand. I've tried hard not to stick too much to the tonic (which is my Achilles' Heel as my previous compositions are rooted to it) so hopefully I've made slight progress in that aspect.

Regarding the PDF score, please ignore the bottom dynamics (p, pp, ppp) since Sibelius is retarded and makes the left hand too overbearing.

Please let me know what you think, what I can do to improve and some suggestions for the right hand!
