Hi all,

This is my new string quartet which premièred earlier this week in the National Concert Hall in Dublin, played by the Dublin String Quartet.

Just about 11 minutes long, as I ended up only having one week to write it. I don't think there's anything special to say about it - it's fairly representative of where I am right now as a composer. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

I would love any comments or reactions.

It also got reviewed in the Irish Times, which you can read here:

A wonderful work. I love how the string quartet members really got into playing it!

I'm afraid it's not the kind of language that I understand, so all I can say is that it has a sound structure and... That's kind of it. :P

I'm not exactly the best to judge this kind of works. X_X

Congratulations on the performance Daniel!! It's a great piece - bravo :D
