this is a piece I wrote for my lessons with Jawoodruff, in which I was focusing on using and developing motives. Nonetheless, I am very proud of this piece. While not particularly fueled by deep emotions when written, I think this piece expresses a sense of sadness and mourning. Good work Connor - keep up with the lessons, they seem to be working!

To me this seems to have a more angry tone through out the entire piece rather than a sense of loss. Either way, the music is nicely written! Well done!

Octave accidental disagreement on the last page. Intentional? If so, you should put a courtesy accidental in front of it.
