June 23, 200619 yr So, over the past few days I've noticed every time I close my browser, my YC cookies are deleted. Only this site, and it's not browser specific (I use firefox, flock, and IE). I'm wondering, am I having weird issues, or is the expiration on the cookies set too low? [EDIT]: The 'Welcome Back, you last visit was X at X:XX' is also always wrong. It shows the first visit of every day, not the actual last visit. This may be indicitive of my problem.
June 23, 200619 yr Do you mean the cookies are actually deleted, or the board no longer remembers you when you return? It remembered me today, so I assume the problem is specific to you, unless any other users are experiencing problems of a similar nature and would care to chime in. I did make a recent change to the security settings related with authentication recently, but that was yesterday, so the fact that you say this issue has been present for the past few days suggests it is not the cause. I'm not sure if the last visit time has anything to do with this, although it does tie in with session handling. The first thing I would recommend doing would be to clear all YC cookies. You can do that by following this link: http://www.youngcomposers.com/forum/index....gin&CODE=06 Once you have cleared your cookies, log in again, then see if you are remembered. Use the full login form (not the quick login form on the board index) and ensure "Remember me" is ticked. If you still aren't remembered after that, get back to me.
