Metro Firefight

Featured Replies

Combat track I made for a WIP modification for Fallout: New Vegas. Not "Fallout-ish" in style, but neither is the mod :PThe track plays during combat within some metro tunnels(hence the name).

Not bad. I thought it was a bit repetitive, but then again, a lot of combat music is repetitive. Maybe, a sudden shift in texture, rhythm, etc. would be nice somewhere around 1:00-2:00.

yes, its very ripetitive and poor in ideas, but it could be good for a short scene.

Let me first say that you have excellent percussion! What sample libraries are you using?

I like the part where the lower string marcatos come in by themselves, it was definitely an action video game moment.

However, the trumpet(s?) have way too much reverb on them, and they are a bit machine gun-ny. Maybe making the trumpet ossinatoes into tuplets/triplets would make for an interesting solution, eh? Just my suggestion.

It is a bit repetitive, yes, but that's actually a good aspect of the piece if it is based off of a video game.

Good work!
