Untitled Symphony: I. Allegro (WIP)

This is my first composition (albeit still a WIP). I took inspiration from Romantic composers like Tchaikovsky and also modern composers like Shosta. There's lots of repetition and modulation of motifs/themes like C#, A, G#, F#. I still need to flesh out the orchestration with more brass and woodwinds and make it longer, but the skeleton is there. C&C would be awesome! Thanks.

Not bad to be your first one, the harmony, orchestration, balance and development is in "medium" quality, I would say you to try to improve the development first, since this will be a symphony you have 2 or more movements to develop the ideas you've shown in this move, expand phrases, try to re-use material, develop before introduce new one, or develop later.

In you software set a more realistic volumes for your instruments, that will help you to balance when listening the playback,Strings specially violins louder, all brass louder, and woodwinds a bit softer.
