Guitar Quartet

Does one really need 4 guitars here?

Probably not. Sorry, but I'm only a rookie composer and I know almost nothing about guitars, so you're probably right.

No worries. Guitar quartet is a cool idea. Do you happen to have a score? It might be easier to make suggestions if you can upload one.

how do add a score to music that you've already uploaded?

scrap that, done it

Careful with the guitar writing. It's mostly doable, but some of the triad switches may be uncomfortable for the player and not as smooth as you want (root position triads can be funky on the guitar since the strings are mostly tuned in fourths). Also I'm not sure how the first guitar is going to hit the high A in the last chord. And in the measure before, if the E is held out it's going to be played on the open E string, which means the three eighth notes above it are played on the B string. If you're writing for a classical guitar of 19 frets then I think the B string only goes up to F# and not G#. The guitar solo in the middle feels a little naked and out of place, but with a little work it could be great.

Nice melody with simple modulations. Thanks for sharing.
