January 28, 201115 yr A short Prelude in C Major for Piano featuring a motive set to contrasting intensities. I would love any constructive criticism.
January 28, 201115 yr Short and Sweet. The only criticism here is that you didn't turn this into a longer work! I found there were a lot of brutal contrasts, but considering that was the point of the whole piece, I'm not at all against that :santa: .

Thanks, and yeah, that was the main issue I was concerned with: its length. I'd really like to hear other peoples opinions about this. Thanks
January 28, 201115 yr Yep. Very nice, far too short unless you intend it to be a miniature. Thanks for sharing!
February 5, 201115 yr Love this! The main theme is used throughout the piece nicely varied ,the melody going into sudden 8va is really effective,I agree with Lordnemrod it is short but it works very well that way, nice ending too!
March 1, 201115 yr Brilliant Prelude. I think one minute is fine, I mean, although important, this is supposed to be a "prelude" (beginning of a performance), right? With many virtuosic pasages, this will definitely give the audience a good first impression.
