Melissa - the king's last daughter

Well, this is a short medley regarding the film score "Melissa - the king's last daughter". I don't want to tell you so much about the score. Different music regarding emotions & screen-play scenes - esistance, exuberance, battle, tearfulness, etc. Melissa - reserved woman <-> fearless fighter; independent film project of old fellow students; royalties ASCAPMelissa - the king's last daughter

Melissa - the king's last daughter

very nice, interesting progression throughout, it evokes all those emotions and in a "kingly" manner, of medieval times.

very ambient like and moody, if that was the intention.

going to the end the feeling of battle is more intense but also in a "floating" way.

i didn't get the snare entrances at all, it felt off rather than give a sense of rhythm.

its really pointless almost to give thumbs up or down without seeing the picture at all, and please be a pal and comment on other peoples work that you like or not, so this forum will stay alive.

Thx for reply. Regarding the snare: It stands for the soldiery and all the responsibilities. On the one hand she doesn't feel belong. On the other hand it's her identification. So the snare is part of the melody, But it seems to be like a "stranger"

its dark & mysteriously and i like it.

maybe i need to hear a strong main theme that here there isnt, but anyway a good work.

Thx for reply. That's right. I haven't posted the main theme

I like to go to those sites, I always find interesting works, what else is not discovered. this song is really beautiful. wonderful use of strings and are followed by variations that are not reached me I had while composing. I feel like I now have learned something that I take advantage of the future, if I reach a similar style. a small reverb, so I could have imagined, but that's just a detail. AS I congratulate all this work.

Thx for reply, Nimrodia. I want to create my own language regarding composing. That's right. Sometime there is too much reverb. I will fix it!
