February 2, 201115 yr Sorry for the bad recording! I composed this during a night of insomnia. Sorrow I definitely like the build up to the faster part in the middle. Towards the end, I feel like the chromatic descents really add some color to the piece, giving it a sense of slipping, spiraling away into sorrow. Thanks for sharing!
February 5, 201115 yr Very nice! Sorrow is an appropriate title as it is sad and touching indeed and does have a feel of insomnia;of melancholic fatigue and vulnerability,i love how the piece goes into a short anguish outburst and then calm down and remains in quiet resignation.
February 7, 201115 yr The end reminded me a bit of "Once Upon a December" from Anastasia. I liked the chromatic parts and the variations in volume. With some swelling strings in the background and a timpani to imitate the opening rhythmic figure, this could be a nice piece of film music. Quite bittersweet.
