I liked it alot, maybe you should try changing the melody in the upper portions of the piano, maybe up an octave on the bass line and the melody line.

As a conventional piece it works fine. I think you need to explore a couple other voice leading options. Another thing you that would be beneficial is to explore other chord progressions. You could also try changing the register of the melody, go up and octave or play it in the bass. It has better variety and makes it more interesting.

You could also try developing the melody. Changing keys is usually a good way to begin some type of development. That, or you could also expand motives, sequence materials, etc. These will not only add variety to your piece,and making it more interesting, but will also challenge you to get write stuff out side your comfort zone.
