Two Pieces for Piano

Wow. This sounded really cool. And it looks like this is your first post, so let me Welcome you here! I would really love to see a score, preferably in PDF. That way you often get more and more in-depth reviews. Anything you would like to say in a description is welcome as well, form/structure, used tonerow, whatever. That helps to really get into your piece.

Feel free to review on others as well. I hope you will enjoy your time at YC!

I especially loved the section starting at 0:34 cool vivid texture :D

Thank you! I'll publish the score a little later

Nice! I enjoyed that section at :34 as well. It's like a little chase. The slower section immediately after is welcome (great, simple harmonies). I like how you bring back more rhythmic action around 2:05. The trills at 2:23 are rather sudden and unprepared, but they are great for timbral variety. I'd love to see a score as well. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your comments! I just upload the score.

hey man, great job !!!!!!!!

atonal but very musicaly and with a great taste.... very impressive.

atonal but [/snip]

But???

 Like atonal pieces are automatically bad unless they have some redeeming quality.

I personally don't understand the need for atonality, but this piece sounds really smart. I dig the interesting sonorities you create and the textures of juxtaposed lines. And thank you for being thorough about expressions and articulations.

But I too felt the trill was striking.

Welcome to YC!

Thanks guys for listening!

The beginning and the end of the first piece are written in serial technique.

Middle part is written in the atonal technique.

Trill of the second piece is just a joke.

Thanks to all!
