I like how you drew this from imagery, definitely the trait of a film composer. Anyway, I like the piece, you have some nice textures in there. At the beginning, it almost feels like one long inhale, like an intro that keeps rising and building, stretching to the point where I started wondering if it was an intro or going to be the whole piece. It sounds great, though perhaps you could try attaching an intro to the beginning of the track to vault us into the first section so that the soaring music in the first 1:20 sounds like an arrival instead of leading to something else. Hope that makes sense!

At the end, it faded out a little unexpectedly for me.. I wanted it to keep going! If you don't want to return to the music at the beginning before ending, then I might suggest letting the music sort of slow and hold on a final note, or maybe thinning down to just an instrument or two and continuing that gentle rocking feel fading out.. something to indicate that we're winding down to the end.

At any rate, great job!

Thanks for your comments, Jared!

Yes I understand what you're saying. I see the idea behind this piece as a flight which slows down to the middle and then resumes for a little while. Then the minor part goes in symbolizing the opposing force to main characters, as there is always should be one. The finale is a little dragged. At first I planned to it to end right after last strings minor rising move at 2:54, right before violins and contrabass part, But I felt that some kind of happy ending would be needed. I also wanted to make it a little mysterious.

Cool piece, Sky Lynx. I like the variation between the section. Glad you threw in that creepier section in at 2:20.

I think the first minute could have more going. Like, some flute flourishes or some scalar passages in other sections just to give the piece a bit more interest. It sounds pretty solid right now. You've constructed the house; it has walls and everything. Now you just gotta move your furniture in so that your house feels like its your own. Decent analogy?

Pretty cool! Nice job Sky Lynx.

Thank you, John! As I said above there always should be counterpoint to main characters of the story. Little symphony of some sort. Decent analogy indeed. I can see where you were pointing. Listening to it now, I agree, woodwinds could add a little more texture to this cue. I guess I was scared by the introduction. I secretly thought of it as a bit noisy and wanted to balance it with more modest orchestration in the rest of the piece.

hey very strong piece , i loved the orchestration....epic work!

and the piece it self sounds very epic

great one

keep it up
