Hommage an die Ungeliebten - Tribute to the Unbeloved

Why is it called "Tribute to the Unbeloved"? What was your inspiration to write this piece? I don't see how the music and the title are particularly related to each other. It sounds more "bird-like" than anything else to me ... ?

That was just my mood when I wrote this piece. I felt that there were so many things people do in order to compensate for this lack of a surrounding that let's them feel that they belong somewhere, but you can consider this the talk of someone being overly emotional at times.

And yeah, I admit that it sounds a bit too bright for this explanation, yet with a tiny bit of subtle melancholy, don't you think?
