May 15, 201115 yr Cool opening. Lotsa building tension. Sounds more science fiction than fantasy, but there is room for overlap. Great synth sounds. I'm liking the orchestral section at 1:06. I'd turn up the drums to intensify the energy of your piece. That being said, the strings and choir are beautiful in their own right. Worth trying out. Nice work, TRK! -John
May 30, 201115 yr Hoo, the panning is cool. Not too much, definitely. I think the drums could be deeper in addition to being louder. Dunno how you'd accomplish that, though. Along that line, the 'snare' is too far back, sounds muffled compared with the cleanliness of the other sounds. I think compared with the first half, the last half is too quiet. I've turned the volume on the player up all the way, and the first half is perfect, while the last half is actually...quieter. I dunno, something to think about, I'm not a sound engineer. Nice track! May 31, 201115 yr I have to admire any piece that implements electronic sounds so well with orchestral. I'm terrible at sound design and can't create a good electronic sound for the life of me. I think that the percussion in the last minute or so could be brought out more and maybe made a bit more complex to sort of drive the piece forward more. I hope you add more to this piece in the future!
