Wind Trio - Mood Music FINAL

I still really like this - and can't wait to hear the reading of this. I'm still wondering if perhaps in the last set, the flute solo part, if you could add perhaps a little counterpoint between the flute and the other instruments there. That said, the piece really shows Webern's influence on you - I love that.

Thanks for the kind words. You know I was thinking of adding more voices to the flute solo ... but until I hear a performance, I will leave it. I like the declamatory nature of it - as if someone is stepping from the crowd and in a moment of silence proclaims a personal truth before the crowd adds in its echoes and distortions. Nevertheless, good ear Jason and definitely something I will consider (I keep hearing a slight whirring from bassoon about a measure and a half into that flute solo before the voices branch out)
