This is my most recently completed composition, however, I started this way too long ago. This piece was a bit different than anything else I have worked on. It has a much more simplistic foundation than I am used too. I quickly found out that simple does not equal easy. I ended up putting the piece away unfinished for months because i could not figure out how to keep the emotional feeling of the piece going without it becoming too repetitive. After many months at a dead end, i finally broke through the barrier and finished the piece. I am not sure if it is exactly what I wanted out of it, but I am at least somewhat satisfied with the result.comments and constructive criticism are encouraged!

MY dAMN INTERNET ALWAYS CHRASHES WHEN IM ON THIS SITE ARGH :headwall:

ok, third time typing

Its simple, but still awesome

When i make a composition it id often the case that the moods from the diffrent parts differs to much. You do that well. You always keep the same mood, but still changing the atmosphare and this perfectly. You keep the listner interested the whole time. I wasnt bored once.

I also like the overall sound, especially when the strings come in. At 2:56 for example was my favorite part!

well done!

keep the good music coming^^!

Beautiful piece!

I just started composing a couple of weeks ago, and I would love to see your chord progressions and instrumentation here. :) I don't know how to express this in musical terms, I really liked the 'colour' of this piece. It would be very cool to analyse the score to see how this was achieved.

Would it be possible to upload a score?

And I agree with Alpha - keep the good music coming!

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Unfortunately I do not have a score to accompany this file. It was written entirely in a piano roll view. I don't reallyhave any training in notating music. If it helps I could send a MIDI file on request to anyone who wants. Those can be imported into notation programs correct? So if you want the MIDI file I will be happy to email it to you if you message me your email.

Thanks for the encouragement both of you!

I am glad you like the piece and good luck with your own!

have created a very beautiful dream. I could imagine myself at any time for a renaissance of sea gulls, while the "peaceful" Pirates of the packs are treasures, from one vessel to another. wonderful composition. the strings give a clean life and a wonderful addition to any other soundtrack gives the song. specially love this soft symphonic style. I think this is the most beautiful song I've heard so far on this site. extremely varied, I wish you great success in touch with him because he is valuable. when the song was over I continued my heart I have guitar solos in a romantic, soft, lyrical melody of a Spanish guitar.

Wow nimrodia, thanks for the praise! I didn't think anyone would like it THAT much. I'm glad you really enjoyed it!

That's a great piece you've got there. I love how it stays so captivating while being repetitive. You certainly accomplished your goal there. Plus it could fit so many different kinds of scenes (like Nimrodia said). Very enjoyable to listen to.
