  • Just keep in mind that this is a volunteer-based competition with no incentive. So, while we do the best we can, I cannot guarantee that all guidelines will be met. I will post Aniolel's scores on Tu

  • TREE (91/100): 20/20 - Is it "meditative"? Are there minimal ideas that carry an almost minimalistic idea? Dude! Nice work with the simplicity. You kept a good balance between silence and music the

  • I can help with judging, Morivou!

I can't really suggest anyone without consulting if they'd be available or willing to deliver (esp. considering that they have their own deadline). But if given the choice, I'd pick the previous winners Sojar Voglar and Silky Wilky (although I haven't seen the latter in a while) along with Morivou himself. None of these members have actually reviewed any of the competing pieces, so it's not like anyone knows their opinions in advance.

PD. If one or both of them aren't available, we could ask CJPlumblossom or DinaHeartX, since they both have some experience with chamber works and haven't written any review as well.

I say we go to the shout box and yell at random people to judge. If not, I guess you can judge yourself, it's better than nothing.

I'll PM them and see what I get!

Does this mean that the results won't be up by tomorrow?

Wasn't J. Woodruff helping you with the judging, Morivou?

I can help with judging, Morivou!

OUR SAVIOR!

hehe. I believe i am qualified since I have the theoretical background and my artisan skills as a composer can show that, even with out posting composition here.

AH! Go ahead! I'll PM any suggestions and get my judging up tomorrow. JA is judging as well. So, we'll have this contest done in no time!

I shall have my results posted by thurs.

They have be sent to the correct person!

so, wait, are the results already up?

I'd guess only Aniolel's scores are up as of now.

I still need JA's... Please be patient. I'm doing the very best I can.

We know you are  ...

Take it as a sign of how successful was the competition you just hosted: people are eager to know the results.

At least you have mine.

Patience, children :P

Patience is perfect - but it's Monday already  . Halfway through May...

The only reason it's gone on this long is because I said it could go into May if it needed to. ;) Gave myself an out. I anticipated this being a bad time for everybody, seeing as it's the end of school and most here are scholastic.

I don't mean to rush....but June's coming up....

  • Author

Everybody PM Jason (Ja) and tell him to HURRY UP. O_O

I sent a pm to him and he has been extremly busy. Patience is a viture they say.

Aye. See, out of my control. ;) While we're waiting, ANYBODY Wanna do June Competition? I've got some ideas, but I'm interested in hearing yours!

I have a couple ideas of my own, but: 1) they are most likely ill-suited for a solo/chamber environment, 2) should I host the competition, I'd be expected to be a judge, lest it result in a no-decision (like every other one I've been an entrant here in YC) - and I don't feel quite capable of doing it, much less all by myself.
