Sibelius Automatic Transpose

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Recently started using Sibelius 7 after using Finale for ages. It's good, but still getting used to unlearning how to do everything in Finale and converting to the Sibelius way of life.

Just a question regarding transposition- In Finale, I was able to copy a section in one key, paste it in a part of the score with a different key signature and it would automatically transpose the copied part for me into the new key.

In Sibelius, I find that it maintains the original key and then I have to stuff around with transposition options afterwards. Is there any way to avoid this?

Much appreciated,

~Paz
