i tried it and found that when i played a high D i could do it no problem. although i've been told i can hold my breath for a long time. i feel like as long as it's someone who has done breath excercises at least once or twice, they should be able to do it. and if they can't they could probably learn to in a matter of days like i ended up having to do. it also depends on the level of the piece. if it is for an advanced high school group, or a college group, then sure go for it. if it is at more of a middle school or normal high school group then i would say make it shorter.
