Sojar Voglar
My first tango, composed in 2000. So far I have completed four of them, each for different ensemble. This one is very simple and it has become pretty popular with the flutists of intermediate level. It was selected as the obligate piece three times in national and international flute competitions and my first piece which has been re-published. :) It is in sort-of rondo form a-b-a-c-a, in A major, without any contemporary additions in rhythm and harmony.
Luis Hernández
No doubt it is fresh and original. Perhaps there is a humoresque mood ¿? I mean, other tangos are more "serious". Althugh the piano marks rhythm, I like it has presence, too.
