Rhapsody on Themes from the Legend of Zelda

Featured Replies

I composed this piece because I love the Legend of Zelda. Also because I want to introduce classical music to a new generation by using music people are already familiar with and turning it into classical music. Was it successful? Let me know your thoughts. I hope you enjoy it, if so share with your friends!

I attempted something like this as a younger composer and I must say this is a job well done! The impact of the louder sections could be brought out more. Virtuosity, not necessarily, but something with more oomph, yeah?
Generally a good way to relook at a lot of these themes and the transitions are quite nice. Great Fairy was a bit fast some parts but that's cool.
Engraving is lovely. I love professional looking stuff! :)
Some more "development" could be nice in the middle of specific theme sections; sometimes they start to then turn into a transition or stay way too stagnant throughout the whole thing.

Nice!!

This was nice to listen to. I like the idea of one's music being influenced by video game music (personally, I don't care much for the music of this franchise, but that's just me), so hats off to you. You definitely deserve credit as the composer of this piece.
