May 2, 20178 yr The beginning could be a little smoother in terms of sound design. The dropoff from the big hits to the melody was a little bit too precipitous in my opinion. I like how the bass voices and sound effects slowly come in instead of having it in all at once to drive the piece along. I found your vi chords to a little distracting when they resolved to D minor. Not all the time, since it's a very jarring chord change, but I think it could be smoother at least some of the time, at least for contrast, at most to make it sounds more intense. Vary the harmonic rhythm a little bit... go from vi to V in two beats before going to the minor tonic maybe...? Play with it. The middle section was really cool, so I was kind of let down when the old chord progression came back without many changes at the end. I half-expected the track to end with those huge hits from the beginning to make a statement, was surprised when it didn't happen. Good job. See if you can tweak a few things here and there, but it's nice!
