Good game music platforms?

Featured Replies

So I got in to a conversation with someone online and showed them some of my music. They said I should send some of my work into game companies as they work doing CGI work for various small studios and they thought it could be a good fit.

Does anyone know of any platforms where you can get your tracks into the hands of game devs? or any general advice on how you would go about doing something like this?

That's actually how I could get my job.

First of all, have a place for showcasing your music. In Iran, Telegram is very popular, I made a channel on Telegram and started uploading everything I composed or designed (because I also am a sound designer). This can help you to be heard by people.

Second, have live performances or gigs. I played guitar in my friends cafe for two times, and lots of people wanted me to compose or play music for their films/games.

And at the end, search for local game developers or game development studios. Working with indie game developers is fun, and it can make you ready for working for bigger companies.

I hope my post could help!
