Witch's Dance(Woodwind Quintet)

Featured Replies

This song is about imagining a witch dance. I planned to sing a song, but I decided to make it with a woodwind instrument.

Splendid!

You definetely achieved the 'witchy' mood: I can hear their guilty laughs when I listen to the music.
The wind writing is nice and the music is never boring!

Very well done!

Well done, with an especially wonderful use of Klangfarbenmelodie in your melody line.
With your voice leading being very well executed on the whole, do watch out for jumps, especially in the horn, since its timbre is noticeably different.
Are the parts at the end supposed to have slurs or be tongued?
I'm a little confused by the ending? Is it meant to loop or end on an implied dominant (VII)?
Simplistic, yet great writing.
