August 31, 200619 yr One idea might be a set of fixed criteria to put people into the pool, such as: * Minimum of 100 total posts * Minimum of 0.5 posts per day average over the past 60 days * Minimum of 90 days as a member
August 31, 200619 yr I think a simple vote from the people should work. Like, as a preliminary, composers pm a mod or Mike to say they are ready to participate (like have a piece ready to be showcased), then Mike puts together 5 or 10 people, who are then voted on by the people. As the weeks go by, people will be showcased and former showcasees cannot participate until there are no other composers left who want to participate, that means, noone goes twice unfairly.
