October 11, 20196 yr It's very ecstatic until 3:30 where a bit of "drama" comes in. From this point it's more interesting. It's just that the first part is a big section with litlle contrast, although there is color. I suppose one percussionist is able to change instruments so quickly. good piece.
November 4, 20196 yr Very interesting selection of harmonies. May I ask what scales you were using? This is clearly a large undertaking, and your notation skills are quite advanced. However, I question whether the music is congruent with the words being sung. The music seemed to fit more of a jazz bar setting than a lovesick poem. At any rate, this is a great work. Look forward to hearing more of your stuff!
