Heart and Soul Arrangement

Featured Replies

Maybe everyone is tired of this song, but I still like it. So I made an arrangement of it for piano and a muted trumpet. The midi file kind of makes the trumpet sound like a sax though. Anyways, hope you enjoy. I wrote some lyrics too.

Hope you like it.

Nice way you make it a bit more jazzier. but the beginning was not that good, felt very disharmonic or something like that and it just got me irritated :D

But overall, nice :D!

I actually liked the beginning.

Before you go into the piano triplet figure at :58 give us something like it immediately before in the trumpet or whatever the midi is trying to do. Since the comping is so hardcore with the triplets, you have to gradually take us in. It's cool, but you just can't throw it in there.

When you throw in the flat 3s for enclosures, give us more of them so that way you can develop the idea. Don't just do it once.

good.

tee hee...enclosure. Excellent use of the lingo.
