I am not really sure what kind of triple meter dance it is, so if anyone knows for sure, please let me know. :P

Short Dance No. 1.MUS

Will Kirk,

Thank you for sharing this amazing work with us. Here are the two reasons why it's amazing. You make sure that we understand what chord you're in by outlining it a number of times. I just love it when poeple do that.

Your music is quite safe. I like it when I can't tell the difference between music written now and music written a few hundred years ago. It helps me remember my younger years. This is simply fantastic.

Hey man, you give me crap, I give you the same stuff.

0.31 ~0:42 reminded me of the last part of Beethoven's Fur Elise.. (It's a good thing though) ^^

since when did I give you crap? That wasn't really crap to me, unless you were speaking in code.

Ok then, since you invited.

It's a nice enough piece - easy to listen to - but I'm not sure what sort of dance you intended. The offbeats make it interesting but difficult just to get up and just dance to without something choreographed. Mind, there are some Caribbean islands where they like in-between beats.

Presumably you can play this?

Presumably you can play this?

Yes, very well in fact

why do you ask?

Nice work !... you manipulate Finale very well and write music very clearly... that a very good point for you !

Well thank you very much

very charming, with a somewhat spanish feel to it. recalled some ancient dances like as the renaissance passamezzos or galliards.

Yes frantz, I believe it is a Galliard, I have done research and it turns out that's what it is.

Thank you for your comment :P

you are welcome!

have you other pieces like this one?

  • Author
