Hi,thanks for taking the time to listen to the work. As many participants on this forum, I am an amateur composer, in that I did not major in composition in a university music degree program. So I am always interested in suggestions to improve my work. Do you think you can be a bit more detailed in your posting? I am really interested in the observation that the work needs more consistency. Are you referring to the thematic development, harmonic movement, transitions, voice leading, juxtaposition of sections, orchestration, etc? Maybe you could point/highlight those sections for me. You lack experience and knowledge, that's all. Yes, he has a DMA from a prestigious university and teaches composition as well as being a Music Director of a few orchestras.
