February 21, 20233 yr Hi @hw1234, I love b.1-8 the first part more as there are more varieties. B.9-11 for me is quite elementary as it's just the extension of the ending tonic chord. Again you should try develop more at least in the level in the piece 292 and here it's not even long enough for a sketch for me, maybe it's just jotting down idea here for later usage. You have so many ideas that can be extended! Henry
February 23, 20233 yr Yes, the problem here is that the second part has not harmonic movement and, for that reason, there is no cadence. Bars 9 and then are a second inversion of the tonic (Dmaj), which is predominant.
