I'm young, I want to compose music, I experiment.

When I first saw these forums I thought "Ohh, classical music." Not that there's anything wrong with that it's just that I don't make classical music. I could be what you call a "no-good classicist"... (lol) but i always like beeing supreised and you most cirtanly made that happen! :blush:

For example - your "Diary of Windy ai" - I really have no idea how you made that happen, but wow! :lol: What did you use to make this? I do sence a lot of eletronic interfearance, but i also heard glass banging (?) too and ummm... what was that clicking sound that always follows?

I took a look at that windfall of yours, and i must say it sounded very sadistic! and thats why i liked it! lol. a gentile melody combined with razor-sharp sounds in the background - wow! and that bass that constanly rises up and down never gave me rest. how do you people come up with this stuff?!? :)

I think you have a very unique style, but that may just be me, since i don't listen to this kind music of music very much.

Thanks for the comment Wolf_88, I'm glad you enjoyed it...or at the very least found it interesting.

The whole concept behind the song actually is pretty amusing. My friend came over to jam one day (on guitar) and I had laid down my guitar on my amp while getting the door. As some of you may know this would cause feedback between the guitar and the amp.

I played around with the idea and set up 3 amps (mine and two of my friends) facing each other. Laid down our three guitar connected all the amps and then fed them through delay pedals and distortion pedals. They played around with knobs and stuff as I did some stuff with my Kurzweil k2000 (my first and only synthesizer). There's some other odds and end objects I found laying around the room I'd play with every now and then.

The wall of sound we built made the whole room vibrate. Unfortunately the recording is done with a cheap camera's microphone which i hooked up to my stereo and recorded onto a tape. It really takes away from a lot of the liveliness we felt while playing. A tone point the low E string of the guitar was resonating with the frequencies of the feedback and was actually vibrating very rapidly (it was a shock when I first saw it).

So basically it was just a fun experiment. Then when I got it onto the computer I added a drum beat with Reason 3.0. I kind of did a hopshod job with everything but it was all for fun and I enjoyed doing it.
