March 14, 20233 yr This is a ukulele instrumental thing I wrote with a melody and an arrangement. I hope the bass isn’t too muddy sounding. It’s kind of an important element in the piece but I always have trouble keeping the bass in my stuff from over-powering everything in my mixes. Made in the Sonar 8.5 piano roll. Enjoy! -Rick
March 14, 20233 yr Hi @epii, The ukelele sounds really relaxing and funny here! That C minor minor subdominant is greatly used here! I enjoy this as well! Btw, I find that in your previous post there's a post in the same name. Does this post a remake of that post or simply "Again again" again? Henry
March 14, 20233 yr Author Henry, I've been cleaning up the arrangements on some of my pieces and re-posting them here at YC. That's what happens when I don't listen to my stuff for a long time. I roll my eyes and wonder; "How did that get by me?!" Makes me wonder how many professional recording artists cringe when their producer has to explain to them that "It's good enough, we need to move on." I am my own producer and I don't suffer from deadlines but deadlines might not be such a bad thing for perfectionist type people... like me. Thanks for the comments!
