"just a lot of sketches" - piano solo

Featured Replies

Hi all! I thought to share this. This piano solo work is incomplete. This has been one of my earliest composition attempts. Maybe this belong to some kind of machine music genre such as "machine piano" since it is not playable.

Pianoroll editor is much faster to write this kind of fancy things. I haven't found better pianoroll since midi orchestrator plus. I should use that kind of editor to edit it. I have used Midi orchestrator plus and it is not working after windows xp.

Musescore notation file looks horrible, pianoroll picture would look more logical.

That is why i would like to add low resolution video taken from musescore pianoroll editor, but it is not possible. I think it is that videos would take too much space?

There is midi file also.

By listening it only without seeing the notes could be confusing.

First 1 minute is kind of ok to me. But later It sounds like i have wanted to jump ahead in the development and write only interesting parts. To me hearing it again is refreshing to hear but what is missing is the development. I do have a some kind of vision of the piece.

Yup at least it's quite confusing for me. They are similar but having sloght difference in some of them. They are for sure energetic and intersting both harmoncally and particularly rhythmically.

Actually my fav. sketch will be the one in 2:31 since it's more harmonically complex and jazzy.

Thanks for sharing
