Untitled piece for orchestra and solo cello and violin

Featured Replies

Did I do a good job with the orchestration of this piece and if I want to make it the end of a larger piece how should I go around creating more melodies?

I tend to agree with you about the last part

And on the topic of the score I composed it in fl studio and I don't know how to read sheet music so I can't really help with that

You could export your composition as a midi file from FL Studio, then open this file with MuseScore (available for free).

Then use File>Export to make a pdf of your score.

That would give us a rough idea of how your piece is put together. (It won't be perfect ofcourse.)

I made some changes to the piece and figured out how to convert to sheet music.

Thank you for the suggestion.

I would love for some comments about the score

Thanks for posting!

MuseScore has made its usual errors with the clef assignments in your score.

Violas should remain in alto clef throughout, and the celli have far too much chopping back and forth between bass and treble clefs.

I think it's a good composition though, with some effective contrary motion in the strings.

I actually noticed the clef changes but I'm not familiar with the software so I don't know how to change it

Thenk you for the comments
