Luis Hernández
It is a somewhat strange piece. Although it doesn't become "heavy", I think there are many repetitions, not only of phrases but also of the motives. The melody relies on minimal intervals for many bars at times. It also happens in some cadences, which sound very long, crushing the motive. This sounds very classicist, but then there are parts where it becomes much more chromatic and modern. It is an original waltz and, well, what I say to you is a matter of particular taste.
Quinn St. Mark
G'day @Aw Ke Shen, Thanks so much for sharing this waltz! It was a very interesting piece. I agree with Luis that there may have been a few too many repeats, but you certainly challenged my expectations as a listener with some of those left hand rhythms towards the end!
