En Route To Atlantis DAW Playback Video

Featured Replies

Hey all, trying something new with my videos.

Here is a MIDI sequencer playback of "En Route To Atlantis", which is both the first track on the list and the first one I composed for my "Lost Worlds" album. Let me know what you think.

Hi @AngelCityOutlaw!

Great track!  I don't know if I've told you before that your music often reminds me of James Horner.  There are also parts of this that remind of Hans Zimmer's main theme to Pirates of the Carribean.  I love the alternation between i and bVI in the beginning.  I like the transition to the chorale-like section from the fast ostinato around 0:38.  The Hans Zimmerish rhythms are around 1:14.  There are also some awesome flourishes in the piccolo at 1:34.  Thanks for sharing this action-packed track!

Hey thanks a lot Peter!

Yes, you have said before haha. Believe it or not though, aside from Aliens and Zorro, I'm not really familiar with much of Horner's work.
