"Ow my sad" A tragic tale of me experementing with computers

Featured Replies

Here's a little something I wipped up last night instaid of sleeping. It's the firstthing I've composed after reading through the theory books that the correspondence school sent me. I'd quite like it if you chaps could tell me the parts you don't like and perferrably why you don't like them. Even more perferrably would be for you to chaps to suggest ways of improving those parts. I have now been awake for 25 houres. You'll excuse me for not explaining the peice in depth.

Putfile - ow my sad

Well, I'm not to familiar with this style of music. I think it sounds pretty good. It's like techno with some bongos in the background. An interesting contrast. There is nothing I can really suggest because I don't know enough about what makes a good techno piece to give an opinion. I could imagine hearing it at a night club. The ending seemed a little abrupt. Good job. I hope to become more familiar with your style of music.

One of the best things about electronic music is that there's no rules to what kinds of sound you can use, but there are plenty of guidelines that define what specific subgenra something is and this is definatly not techno.

It cuts off abruptly at the end because it's designed to be looped as I made it for a game that a famous internet personality is making. He certianly seemed to love it.

From sleep deprivation comes inspiration...

Heh- this was hard on my speakers, but overall, it was a pretty cool loop, especially for a video game.

I look forward to hearing more of your innovations. :)
