Thale Cres For Symphonic Orchestra

Featured Replies

Here is one of my works for Thale Cres (google it, if you want :whistling:). Yes, it is a game, but the music is rather sofisticated, in a tonal way, and well rendered in the computer so I do believe that it deserves a place here and not in the games section.

Anyways

The mp3, 3.7 Mb

The score in pdf format, 310 kb

I actually think that it has a very...warm sound to it... :-/

All comments are most welcome of course... :D

Nikolas

Nikolas,

I agree that this piece deserves to be in the 'orchestral' area as opposed to the video game area. Great stuff!

I heard this on CGEmpire, laughed myself silly.

It's just so likeable and enjoyable to listen to - really fun. :)

I like what you've done with it, nice mood and well-executed overall. Recording is also well-made.

As for its placement, it IS supposed to be in the Incidental Music section, not because there's any question about its quality - simply because of the way this site is organized. All my stuff has to stay there too

Anyway, great work, I look forward to hearing more!

Yes - the piece belongs in the incidental section simply because it is an incidental piece.

I listened to it, and found it very enjoyable

I like your use of tonality, and the orchestration was great, for the style.

Lovely work.

(also, as Marius says, the rendering was excellent)
