War Cry (Choir)

Again, for an ongoing project...

War Cry

Half of the pronounciation and Latin grammar is probably wrong. But who cares.

Sweet. This is really cool, J. I think that you could spend some more time working on the realism of the singing, just to make it a bit clearer. Then again, I know how bloody hard it is, I've got those choirs too.

The rest is awesome as usual :)

If you can crank up the consenants on your program, that would be a very good idea. Otherwise, it sounds very cool. Not much of a "cry," exactly, but perhaps more of a dramatic narration. Not the type of thing you'd hear IN battle but as its is recounted.

Obviously the best choral option is a real choir, but that's also one of the most limited options too.

Thanks,

"War cry" is actually part of the lyric... it's just in Latin.

This is "Voices of the Apocalypse" from East West. :D

The EWQL Symphonic Choir would probably be better, but I'd also have to pitch in money for a new harddrive.

I've actually spent 10+ min per line of text in this :). I just figured that even with real choir, half of the time you can't really hear the consonants, so I didn't want to spend time making it sound real.

Some parts aren't clear because there are two texts running at the same time. Oh well, this is the first time I played with dynamic choir samples. There's always a first. :D

Wow, this is some awesome stuff you got here Juicypork. I don't have much to say, but thanks for sharing :(

*chuckles*

You using Harmony Assistant to do the vocals? If so, if I can find it, I have a reasonably good voice for Latin which would make the vocals much clearer and more accurate, although interms of the actual pronunciation itself, it's not bad.

The piece itself is fantastic, however. ;) This is exactly the sort of style for which I was aiming and missing with a lot of my soundtrack music, heh.

What's Harmony Assistant?
