December 30, 2025Dec 30 Hey, cool music, and welcome! Very Christmas-sounding indeed 🙂 The part at around :40 reminded me of the third mov. of Sibelus' 5th... you know that one? Check it out if you haven't, it's a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing, and give some thoughts on the other Christmas pieces in the event... you'll find more will check out your music if you listen to theirs too!
December 30, 2025Dec 30 This is a very peaceful and festive piece that easily gets one Christmas feeling. I like the well-balanced and calm orchestration with the spices of the bells, trombones and pizzicato strings. Condolences to your waterlogged computer, so it’s a pity that we have no score. Thank you for sharing, welcome to the forum and a Happy New Year 2026.
December 31, 2025Dec 31 Hello @raymond doerr! I like your use of chimes throughout the piece. Starting from a more joyous A major and end on a calmer F major well fits the Christmas theme. Like @Wieland Handke mentioned I like the pizzicato strings at the end of the piece. Thx for joining the event and welcome to our forum! Henry

January 1Jan 1 Hello @raymond doerr and welcome to the forum! I'm glad we met! I love the warmth and high quality production value of this rendition! I can easily imagine this playing during a sweet wintry moment in a sappy Christmas movie LoL! Great job and thanks for joining and sharing this with us!
January 1Jan 1 What a beautiful piece. The harmony and key changing is what makes this piece shine, although the short motif is definitely what holds the piece together. This has to be one of the most emotional Christmas submissions here. In fact I get a lot of mixed emotions, and this could very easily be music for a movie scene. My favorite part is at 1:36; that key change is stellar.
