My attempt at composing a J-Pop style song.

Featured Replies

Recently, I was asked to compose a song, that should have a happy mood to it, and be in the style of J-Pop. So far I've only done the introduction, but I still want to know what you guys think about it. This isn't meant to be in the style of recent J-Pop that you hear in animes today, but in the style of J-Pop that you would probably hear in an 80's/Early 90's anime. The song is attached to the post.

Hehe, I much prefer the modern stuff, but this isn't bad. It would benefit muchly from a decent recording, but you need to finish it before you think about that. ;)

This does put me in mind of things like the intro sequences to a lot of older Anime, though, so you're definitely on the right tracks! :)

Come on guys, I need criticism. Surely it's not perfect.

Reminds me very stongly of a theme from a Sonic the Hedgehog game I used to play on my Sega Genesis...

Very 32-bit techno cool :P :D
