It's Our Moment To Shine! (Genre:Pop) WIP, To be performed live in May

Featured Replies

Hi folks, here's one of my latest version of "It's our moment to shine". As you can see, it is still at WIP (work in process) stage, and this only a rough sketch of what the entire piece will mostly be like when completed. Anyway, enjoy. Thoughts and comments are always welcome.

Just to add on a bit, this piece was actually inspired by many of the anime songs that are out there on the market. Mainly it describes how a group or bunch of friends spends a weekend down at the beach, and everybody is happy an enjoying the fullest out of their time.

Hey, well we've been having loads of exams at school, not had much time to post but i've been checking in every now and then, :) hope to be back and a bit more active soon!

oh how are things working out for Quintessence? Would you still like me to maybe compose something for it or am I a bit late now? sorry, i've been very busy recently, i've got some more pieces if you want ot hear them at all...

  • Author

Hey Writingwriter, yes..i didnt forget you lol. Umm ya sure if you can, but you know, you should uh sort this out with Reives one more time, just to be sure it's fine. For me, it's no problem. But..we'll see how it goes.

u James, i am 1/4 of the way done converting this to tab, When are u going to send me the polished copy?

  • Author

To HellRider: Yo, what the? oh, umm very very soon very soon as soon as I finish ...polishing...as soon as...very very soon...

We need to reherse this friday, i am pretty sure this piece will take months before it can be performed

  • Author

Ya I'm sure. But, first I need to give you the polished piece.

The fingering is pretty hard, and the 1@2 guitar need to be in sync, it will take months

  • Author

Try it with guitar pro, it will probably find you an alternative.

Whats the best emulation program to get the most realistic sound??

  • Author

Umm, for me, I think I would recommend ..East West Quantum Leap ... They got everything there..but it's too expensive..and I'm not that professional yet :)

  • 2 weeks later...

i think we need to slow it down a bit, it will take the 3 god of guitar to do that to the perfect, like about 150

  • Author

But I thought you were a god guitarist? and Btw, it's 170, NOT 150. and good luck...

Hehe, I played through it and it was relatively easy and fun.

I play a Samick Concord- with Emg Hz4 bridge and Emg Hz4a Neck Pickups. 24 Frets with a 24.75 scale fretboard. It crams your fingers in tight.

What do you guys use?

  • Author

Umm you better ask that question to Hellrider, I'm only the composer/keyboardist. :)

Oops heheh, Hellrider?
