March 3, 200719 yr This is a short piano piece called Green. There isn't really much to say about it apart from I hope you like it. Comments and suggestions welcome. Green: listen online Green.MID Green.MUS
March 4, 200719 yr I liked it. It's very tranquil and minimalist in material. I'm not sure what's in the name you chose (maybe you can explain) but a different image came to my mind when I listened. I saw a calm body of water with tiny, uniform ripples in the surface. The little snippets of melody that entered in the right hand carried the thought of something dropping in or maybe a fish splashing. The more agitated and angular middle section could be caused by heavier winds whipping up some larger waves, but it doesn't get too stormy. The winds subside at just the right moment. I don't know if this coincides with what you were going for.
March 4, 200719 yr I liked this piece very much. Only thing is though, I wished it could be longer. It was very tanquil and calming as yrogreg. Also, the development in the middle of the piece was interesting. Perhaps you can expand on that. The development did help to add variation to the piece while not detracting from it's simple elegance. Overall, the piece was very enjoyable, and sounds very playable. Good work! ;)
March 5, 200719 yr for me this is one of the best pieces ive heard on here:). so peacefull. yes this needs to be alot ALOT longer. even its just repeats :P. i think 1:12 is a bit bad but apart from that its very gud. reminds me of einardi. Keep writing
March 5, 200719 yr Author Thanks everyone. Recently I've been composing shorter and shorter pieces. I've decided that my next piece will be larger although I don't think I'm ready to do my own symphony just yet. Yrogerg: I've never been very good with names. I got the image of a forest, blue sky and birds singing in this piece. I odn't know if you can see it but I do like your idea of water.
March 5, 200719 yr rather repetative is some parts, but i like it. Well done. ;) (permission to put on my ipod?)
