Tango pour quatre amis

Featured Replies

Hi at all!

The piece that I introduce to you has been written in 1996 for a ensemble of four friends.

After some rehearsals the group was melted and the piece never has not been executed.

The word

I like this work.

I can't give you a deep analyse of the piece, but I think I would let the guitar play the minore chord in the second repetition of the second frase. I think in meassure 11, difficult to say, since you not posted the score. I would keep the melody equal, but just use the minore chord in the second repetition. Later in the piece (at the same melodic frase), you will also need to sink the clarinet a semitone.

But as said, I liked it! Some fine contrapuncts (is it counterpoint in english?), and I simply love counterpoints...

Great Song. I really enjoyed your arrangement too. The instrumentation is unusual, but it works well and adds so much character. This song could probably be arranged for a huge variety of instruments and still sound great. A singer could take the clarinet's voice, and perhaps a second singer doing the flute part would be fun. Whatever you decide I hope you can put this together and perform it and/or have it recorded for film/tv.

Ooh.. Catchy rhythm. I really loved the part where the contrabasso comes in. Is this a recording? Or just a rendered file?

Bravo!

I must say I quite enjoyed this piece, what did you write it on? Just wondering...

I particularly like the bass, you use it quite effectively, although it might be thought of as simple, the chords all felt right in my personal opinion and the recapitulation came back right when it was needed...

...These are the kind of pieces I can really enjoy in my old fashioned, somewhat classical and tonal way...:)

Kudos to Ya! :D

Your words are simply so flatterings.

I must confess to you that I did not expect these alive consents for a simple piece, and if I can say so, of occasion.

I wanted to write a piece with one simple melodic line and warm harmonies, with this Tango I think to be successful.

Thanks for your availability.

Is this a recording? Or just a rendered file?

Yes, I was obtained this file played "virtual instruments" only.

I'm sorry.

Like I said, this piece never has not been executed because the quartet that would have had to play it, was melted.

Best regards

It's too bad that you didn't get a live performance. This is truly a beautiful piece of work. Simple, colourful (I really liked the transitions) and lyrical. It's really well done and just as easy to sing to as it is to dance to :(

That was truly beautiful. I really enjoyed it. Pity that you don't have a recording.

It is really beautiful and lovely!

This old feeling that get's out is really a fine one!

:(

Thanks for posting! and the recording is really nice as well!

The bass is nice. I like this rhythm to. I have northing wrong with it. I would love to play this piece. Very Nice!
