Hi Fredrik!

Your composition ACHILLES is very beautiful!

I like this music!

I think Your music is interesting and professional.

Gr.Piano sounds very good especially.

What sound editor are using? Is Gr.Piano synth instrument or really?

Thanks.

This is the first movement, I'm composing the second now, it will be called "Hector".

Glad you liked the music

Fredrik

I shall wait your new composition:)

I'd rather see a score than hear an MP3, the sounds were a bit too synthy.

To my sense, the music was stylistically a little too erratic: skipping from arch-romantic, to quasi-baroque, then to very filmic music, with bits of rather pop-ish harmony thrown in.

As a movement, it's too short. You have a lot of thematic material, but it only seems to be exposed, and not treated in any way.

Hi Cowboy!

It is a presentation of the themes, like I wrote "This is the beginning and presentation of the themes".

I also wrote "To be continued", which means it's in progress and there will be more than an exposition, don't you worry!

like I said, even within an exposition, the erratic nature of the material makes for a difficult listen. I think this would gain a great deal from some reworking and tightening. Clarity of exposition is important as well. Themes should be presented, not tossed out to the audience.

In this sense, transitional material takes on a great deal of importance, whereby thematic elements are broken up and used as interconnecting material.

My sense is that this was written in one fell swoop. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can lead to a sense of aimlessness.

Again, I'd be much more comfortable commenting on the score than a recording.

I'm afraid that this is the way it is going to sound, it's exactly how I want it to be.

But the piece is not finished and of course there will be changes here and there.
