The idea behind this track is a diamond filled crater/canyon. Give me some ideas on what this makes you think of when listening to this track and what you think would make sound better.

This sounds more like a wandering ambiant than a true location theme. Which are you going for? I think it's fine as ambiant, but if you're going for the theme, take song of Songjun's advice.

Perhaps some chimes would make the track sound more "diamond-like".

I suppose I was going for ambience but at the same time I wasn't. I'm more use to composing ambient style music, so regardless of what I try to make, it will always be in there. It's part of my way of composing I guess you could say. In this track I was going for an ethnic memorable feel with ambient influences. So the main theme of this song would be the ethnicity over a specific melody if that helps clarify my motives.

What software did you make this with? The strings were bad.. It keeps getting louder. Correct that and it will be fine.

Sounds like a FF dungeon theme, and I'm not going to even begin about melodies...
