Broken Stairs

hey ^^ first post.. sorry about the title, I cant come up with anything better. oks here we go. I composed this a few months ago.. I just want an honest opinion on it.

I'm 16 and I have no training as far as structure etc. goes, I just play piano on my own and thought I'd start trying to compose. So please listen and comment :P constructive criticism is always good.

Very nice. It has some very good moments with an introspective mellow jazz harmony style. The slightly awkward effect in a few places is, I assume, why you called it "Broken Stairs" - titles aren't too important but this one suits. I would like to hear more - the piece just gets going and then stops.

thanks :) i was in the school's jazz band at the time so i guess thats where the influence is from. I'd like to continue it but i'm kinda out of ideas... that's my main problem to this day. i have a few unfinished themes im thinking of posting
